The team’s Best of the Year list includes the Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies.
The Milwaukee Brewers have won seven of the past eight titles.
The Chicago Cubs have won four of the last five.
The Washington Nationals have won five of the previous six.
The Philadelphia Phillies won four straight in 2016 and 2017.
The Cleveland Indians won five straight from 2007-10.
The Los Angeles Angels won three straight from 1998-2000.
The Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox have all won five consecutive World Series.
The best-seller for each team is determined by a team of three analysts.
The analysts who select each team are selected by MLB.COM editors.
The winners are determined by the voting of fans.
The rankings were calculated using an algorithm that takes into account team history, recent postseason wins and other factors.
